May's Sticky Cap selection shows off the many sides of green with Marina, Algae, Sword Fern and Mallard. Plus we brought back two favorites - Concord and Stormy Blue. Explore these cool colors with a forest or seascape painting. We also brought back some favorites in ink. Treasure is our most popul.ar drawing ink. Use it with brushes or dip pens, but skip it for fountain pens. The mix of metallic micas will make whatever you're working on look fancy. Banana Slug and Mauveberry are back after a bit of a hiatus. Both are fountain pen inks. Banana Slug is great if you want to write with a yellow and still be able to read it after it dries. Mauveberry is a fabulous color that's hard to pin down. Is it purple? pink? peach? It's a little bit of each of those. And last we introduced Bauble. The name is from one of our Holiday Sticky Caps. We've been experimenting with colors and this one was so lovely that we had to add it to the collection. It's a sparkly blue that will go great in medium or broad nib pens. 

And for our Deluxe subscribers, we included one of our new mini accordion sketchbooks. These are made with 100% industrial waste. Even the paper! It was rescued from the recycling bin of a local publisher. These are great pocket book to capture your inspiration on the go. 

For inks we sent out two that haven't been made for several months - Ponderosa Pine and Grackle. More sparkles with those! Bark pairs perfectly with Ponderosa Pine. Cosmos is one of our favorites. It is intentionally not waterproof and has a lovely lilac that breaks away from the ink when you add water. 
And did you notice Grackle has a different bottle? After getting some leaky shipments, we decided to explore other bottle options and we like this so far. Let us know what you think at info@pushpullseattle.com.

Deluxe subscribers got this risograph printed journal. It features fountain pen specialty paper and is printed by us. The artwork is by Push/Pull's own Kaylyn Chileen. 

Ink subscribers got two of our most popular inks, Raven and Cypress. A warm black and a deep teal that we can never have enough of. Plus there's two new inks (so new their art for labels wasn't done yet). Magic Wand is a sparkly deep brown. Bubblegum is a bright pink. We're especially excited about Bubblegum since making this pink has been a challenge. 

Another ACAB. This one is a little special. We received a huge wholesale order of ink at the beginning of the week and this meant that instead of having 3-8 colors make up an ACAB, we only had two. We loved the resulting color and are trying to figure out how to make it on-purpose.

A first look at a new blue ink. Leave it to us to make half a dozen blues and not a single one without sparkles. Stormy Blue is inspired by the Sticky Cap of the same name and is a beautiful rich blue with zero sparkles. This ink is great for journaling, everyday writing and sketching.

Two greens. Because even though the offical start of spring may be a few weeks away, everything is already turning green. Secret Moss and Douglas Fir are two of our most popular greens. Secret Moss is fun to write with but also makes a great highlighter. Douglas Fir is a subtly sparkly deep green. 

Vegan Sticky Caps! What makes our Vegan Caps vegan? There's no honey. Instead we use vegetable glycerine. The result is a slightly different texture that's silky smooth and granulates less. The Fur set is earth tones specially selected because they are great for painting furry creatures. Each color has a bit of shimmer to give life to your paintings. 

Deluxe subscribers got two extra watercolors this month. The first is Phthalo Teal. We love the punch of this bluish green and think it pairs well with the other warm colors you're getting. The other extra watercolor is Pale Prussian. This one is extra special because the only other way to get this color is in a set, it's not available for sale as a single half-pan. It's a reformulated Prussian Blue that gives a more subtle, moody feel. 

Of course we didn't leave Sticky Caps out of our Spooky Season lineup. Sticky Cap and Deluxe subscribers are the first to get these new four colors - Lycanthrope, Plague, Bathory and Paimon. These delightful demonic colors granulate and sparkle to give all your autumnal art shine and texture.

What's in the bag? I don't know! It's our mystery watercolors. These are so popular in the store that I thought our subscribers would enjoy getting in on the fun. Everyone gets a unique pair of watercolor paints in a reusable drawstring bag. 

For inks this month, it's all fountain pen ink. Hellebore is a deep pruny purple. It's a subtle color and great for general writing when you want something close to, but not, black. 

Mauveberry is inspired by the longtime favorite watercolor that is bursting with purple mica and juicy color. Is a mauveberry a real thing? No, I made it up.

Cub is a beautiful bright orange and part of a bear themed set that is coming soon. The other color we have available right now is Beary Nice, and we're still working on a polar white (name may change).
