Block Printing Workshop
February 11th, 12-3pm
Carve and print your own linocut print, for yourself or as a gift! Learn about positive and negative space as the days get darker and experiment with your block print in color or classic black & white. Come carve with Michiko in the gloomy Seattle winter as they have been doing for over ten years.
Michiko is one of the members of Push/Pull and creates many of the patches, stickers and prints using block printing.
All materials are provided. Please wear a mask during class. You're encouraged to bring sketches, but we'll work on the final design concept together. After the initial instruction, you are welcome to take a break for lunch or snack.
Push/Pull's classroom area is accessible, but our bathroom is very small. If you would like more information on Push/Pull's accessibility, please email email@example.com
Michiko Wild is a multidisciplinary artist with ten years of experience block printing. They also do painting, illustration, fiber arts and anything they can get their hands on.
