Basic Drawing Techniques
Polish your drawing skills with Laura of Lolo & Behold. This five class series will take you through basic drawing skill and build until you can confidently render. The last class is an open studio for you to work on your drawing(s) and ask questions.
Class 1 - Composition theory, drawing from life, drawing from photos, materials, general info, practice time
Class 2 - Perspective basics, practice time
Class 3 - Lighting/Rendering basics, shading techniques, practice with drawing a lit object
Class 4 - Color basics, general blending, colored pencil and marker info, practice
Class 5 - Mentored Studio Class
Class is at Push/Pull February 9th, February 23rd, March 9th, March 23rd & April 6th
Sessions are 6pm - 8pm
Class includes materials kit - even if you have materials at home, this helps with instruction to have everyone working with the same tools.
Laura started drawing from the time she could hold a pencil. Following her passion, she received a BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design. She then went on to get a secondary diploma from the Vancouver Film School. She currently sells her art independently at various places around the Seattle area and takes occasional freelance projects. She is enthusiastic about sharing her love for art with others and hopes to inspire budding artists to practice their craft!
