Rainbow Animals Watercolor Workshop
The 90s are back!! Whether you're a scene kid, a sparkledog, a Care Bear fan, or a Lisa Frank lover, we know you'll have a blast at Push/Pull's new Rainbow Animals Watercolor Workshop.
Join us and create a technicolor illustration of your favorite animal. We'll sketch in pencil from a photo reference of your choice, then take some stylistic liberties to pump up the fun.
The instructor will guide you through wet-into-wet, layering, and glazing watercolor techniques. Add cool patterns and groovy elements to make your critter look like they stepped out of a blacklight poster. You'll go home with a gorgeous watercolor illustration and some new watercolor skills!
All supplies are provided for the class, and your purchase includes a custom watercolor palette. You have the option to bring your own watercolors, palettes, paintbrushes, and devices (smartphone, computer, or tablet) for your animal photo reference, but it is not required.
Class takes place on second and fourth Mondays from 4-8 pm. Class is located at Push/Pull Seattle, 2000 NW Market Street, Seattle.
Max Mandell has been drawing for work, school, and fun for over 10 years. It's a joy to share his love of traditional (and digital) media with the students at Push/Pull. He's excited to make cool art with you :-)
