Stanza
Stanza is Push/Pull's annual art & poetry collaboration anthology and gallery show. Each year, we pair poems on a theme with an artist for visual interpretation, then publish both together. The art is featured in a Stanza gallery show, in April of each year, which also celebrates National Poetry Month!
2026: Growth
|
We're excited to announce GROWTH as our theme for 2026's Stanza, our annual art & poetry collaboration anthology and gallery show!
Poets are invited to submit poetry inspired by plants and fungi. 🌱 Accepted poems will be paired with artists for visual interpretation. Poets can submit work for consideration, and artists can apply to be considered for pairing until January 18th. You can submit as both a poet and an artist. All work will be published in 2026's Stanza book to be released in April, which is National Poetry Month! Artwork will also be featured in a gallery show coinciding with the book launch on April 11. |
2025: Lost & Found
|
Turn over a leaf. Dig inside the couch cushions. Pick something off the bottom of your shoe. There are poems everywhere, for those willing to look.
2025's edition of Stanza, Lost & Found, invited wordsmiths to be the imagemakers and artists to be the poets. Using both word and image, artists and poets were invited to submit work that crosses genres—however they chose to interpret it. Found poems, collage, poetry comics, and other combinations of visual and language were welcome! |
