Teen Classes & Workshops

Learn about comics, art, and crafts with us! Push/Pull pairs professional artists, cartoonists, and illustrators with students to teach creative skills. Students are responsible for their own transportation. The 44 bus stops right outside and 40 is a block away. The 17 and Rapid D lines also have stops nearby. |

Seattle-area middle & high school teens are invited to join us for Open Studio sessions! These aren't structured classes, but teens are welcome to use the studio supplies, ask questions, bring or start projects, and ask for specific lessons on art techniques.
Our Open Studio sessions will allow teens to explore areas of art with our instructors experienced in a wide variety of mediums, including printmaking, illustration, comics, painting, mixed media, and more. Teens will have access to Push/Pull's classroom supplies and risograph printer to release a monthly limited edition zine featuring their artwork. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. For Teen After School Art, we offer pay-what-you-can pricing. We are a small business and recommend a minimum of $5 per day that your teen is here, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please pay what you are able to help us provide our teen programs through Bal-Art.org. |
Support These Programs
Push/Pull and Bal-Art's Teen Art Programs are free for students and their families. If you'd like to support our ability to continue offering these opportunities for students, please consider making a contribution!
